The association that runs, among other things, the game festival, the board game nights at the Grand Hotel, and the role-playing club has the following purpose stated in its statutes:
Our goal is to work not only for the expansion of the gaming hobby in Lund, but also to be a meeting point and hub for the various associations of different kinds that have similar and overlapping interests, target groups, and engagement.
The purpose of the organizing association Lund Game Festival is to promote a favorable development of the gaming hobby by arranging events that make it possible:
- for more people to discover games as a social and intelligent activity,
- for players to develop and deepen their gaming experience by meeting other players and organizers,
- for organizers to more easily create new forms of gaming events together.
Among the association’s activities, in addition to our annual Game Festival, you will also find game nights at the Grand Hotel, the Roleplaying Club, and Lund Board Game Day.
